Design Brand, Learning, and Careers is a team within Airbnb’s Design Org, responsible for managing the reputation and culture of Airbnb Design. They offer various programs and initiatives, which include public design talks, open-source Illustration tools, and courses on Design that serve their external community of global creatives and the company’s internal community of more than 200 designers.
Airbnb asked us to help create a cohesive identity that would represent the group to both internal and external audiences, and would graphically unify their three sub-teams: Design Brand, Design Learning and Design Careers.
The identity consists of a core system + kit of graphic parts that can be mixed and matched by the design team to accommodate a range of current and future applications.
The identity system included templates for emails, social platforms, posters, as well as animated graphics, slide decks, and Zoom backgrounds.
